I was preoccupied with the stuffs I bought when a startling buzz came out from my laptop.. It was from a good friend of mine... I briefly glanced at what he demanded this time...
"Haziah... Update aku sal Israeli attacks in Palestine..."
Then I realized how I'm quite ignorant about the issue eventhough I know that the situation had instigated rage and fumed uproar in so many people around the globe.. I heard from the news that even in KL there was some NGO's that managed this assembly to show their protest against Israeli inhumane attacks on Gazans... As usual the attacks killed more civillains than their intended "targets" (if there are actually any...) There were even demonstrations in Istanbul although Turkey is known to have ties with Israel
The Israeli operation is named Cast Lead and it's just one of their effort to "not abandon our citizens"... Ehud Barak, the Defense Minister claimed that it would be "a lengthy operation" and another spokeswoman said "we have many many targets"... The operation started off with some airstrikes to put the Hamas rockets into halt.. And then they sent their ground troops where the first battle had occured in an open field where the Hamas had tried their best to stop the Israeli troops from entering the populated part of Gaza....
The Hamas leader vowed that the Gaza strip will be the graveyard for the Israeli forces (ameen...) But sadly in the news it was reported that there were 500 palestinians killed so far;mostly civillains (this is not the latest number i guess) whereby there were only 4 Israeli killed.. That's more than 100 fold!!!!! wuhu....
As I browse through the internet, I encountered some blogs that ridiculously praised the Israeli operation.. How absurd... How can some people be happy with something so brutal and be pleased when there is genocide... What if that particular thing befall them... I'm very sure they won't say
"YEAY!!!! We are going to be killed!!!!"*gleefully*
As I read all the articles about this in the internet, I can't help but agree to what Keanu Reeves said in his movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still"... HUMAN ARE A DESTRUCTIVE SPECIES...
We destroy the environment and even destroy each other.. How sad.... Can't we just live in peace and harmony....??? Hurm.. *ponder*
I really don't know what to say about this... But there is one article that seem to be hovering in my mind.. Well, the article said... If we look today, all the attributes of the Jews and the Nasranis are exactly as it is stated in the Al Quran.. But the Muslims... Most of us are far from what is described in it... Whatever it is.. I think the best thing is to go back to the divine teachings... And then we'll prosper... Unity.. Strength... Knowledge... We have so little of them.. We have to realize and accept reality... If we keep ourselves in denial that we are far backwards... We won't improve...
Together we pray for the well being and safety of our brothers and sisters in Palestines.. May their efforts to protect their land and the dignity of our religon be blessed.. May their hearts be full of patience and acceptance.. And may it all end quickly...

A lesson for us who are living in peace... Just look around you.. There are just so many things to be grateful about. So quit playing around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (including you HAZIAH.. hehe)
